I think I got that quote right from the TV show, 'My Name Is Earl."
When I was in Canmore, Alberta on vacation some weeks ago I did quite a bit of walking. Maybe because it was spring and the snow hadn't been gone that long, there was a lot of garbage on the walking trail.
As I headed out I would grab a bag and fill it with garbage. Once, I came across a pile of garbage from McDonald's. There were several coffee cups in the pile and 4 of them still had the sticker on them that can be collected for a free coffee.
So, the good thing that happened to me was I got 4/7th of a free coffee.
I like McDonald's coffee so I think it's pretty good payment for something I was doing any way!
The picture is the little paper that hold the stickers until you collect 7 and cash it in.

No, I don't understand either. I didn't have to walk far to get to a garbage. And if they like McDonald's anyway why throw out the little stickers? Funny thing is, in the same bag were coffee cups that had the stickers removed. Someone could have had a free coffee already from that pile of cups.

@paigea I love being able to fill up the pieces. I am half way on hair cuts. 5 out of 10 squares.

Funny post, Paige and completely unexpected. I didn't know where you were going with this, but it's nice when you can reap benefits for good deeds done right away. Normally we can't connect all those dots for the good done and the good we receive especially when they are far apart.

Good way to look at it.
We do not have problems with garbage here mostly.People are quite respectful and will not litter and if you have bad luck and liter, fines for littering goes from $80 which no one wants to pay so littering is really at a minimum.
