Cakes in the mail

My kids where supper excited because today after we got to my parents house the Fedx man show up. I had the front door open so the gentlemen just placed the boxes right outside of the door because my littlest was watching him. I noted the boxes where from New Orleans. Which is awesome because I knew they had some goodies in them. I called my mom and asked if it was okay to open because all the kids including my nephew wanted to try some. So I got the King Cake out, and these little King Cake balls out as well. I fixed the King Cake up and gave a little to my kids. I know they love King Cake because I do. They where happy for this little treat.

That's great its always good when food get delivered undamaged. How'd it taste?

The little king cake balls a few were a little damaged but other wise the other stuff came in just fine. I tried the little kind cake balls which they where good and really cold of course. I love king cakes so I know this one is good but I like mine with coffee so I'll get some tomorrow. I always end up making coffee at my parents house and I'll cut a little pieces. My husband did find the baby in his pieces.
