Middle Eastern Ozzie looks perfectly delicious! Our Lebanese friends taught and served Lebanese dishes with our group whenever we met cross-country. Savoury ground meat, and we eat them with lebanese bread, raw chopped vegetables and served with homemade yoghurt and olive oil with spices. I will have to research,( I used to know the names of the food very well) about those exquisite dishes we add in our meals at home after learning about them from our Lebanese friends.

My husband has a favorite soup he likes but one time I tried something “different” to the recipe. Wasn't sure it would be accepted but my husband and son wiped out the pot. My son has a really good friend from Jordan, who lives in America. Sometimes he eats meals with him and his family. I distinctly remember my son saying “Mom! This soup is good! Your food taste just like the food my friend's mom cooks.” I was so pleased because I was experimenting and trying a few ingredients that were often used in Middle Eastern cuisine. I felt so successful! But like an idiot I forgot to write down the changes to the recipe. Now I have to figure out how to do it again!
