But Dixie called me. She had some pork ribs in the oven. Was I interested? I got up. I really woke up as I was half dozing. I started to sing a song of a long tome ago. It was called "Wake up little Susie" by the Everly brothers, 1957. The song was still meaningful, but I wasn´t in tune. I did not care. I live alone at home. I took with me the Jack Daniels bottle I had for Humberto, a big steak and some homemade orange-carrot jam I made a couple of days ago. After a wonderful lunch that included a couple of glasses of wine, I went with Humberto and Dixie to shop for a car for her. They finally bought a brand new jeep and left Dixie´s jeep. After that they took me home and here I am, mylotting. It is already night as we are in the shortest days of the year. I´ll finish this post and I´ll go and get a teapsoon of jam. It is awesome. The picture is of Dixie and me some years ago.
