Baby Girl Quilt

As promised, here is a picture of the baby quilt I made for my husband’s cousin. I really like how it turned out. I finished downloading the latest Photoshop but it will no longer download pictures from my phone. I have to upload them to Google Photo and then download them to Photoshop. Had I realized that before buying the latest Photoshop I would not have bought it. What a pain. As I’m having trouble figuring out Google Photos (too tired) I finally just emailed the picture to myself and then downloaded it. As the saying goes, there’s more than one way to skin a cat!

Congratulations, this is so cute, I love this baby girl quilt. You had a great idea to email the pictures to yourself and then download them.

E-mailing the pictures works, but I wish I could still upload them directly from my phone. It's easier.

@BettyB You are right, it would be faster being able to upload them directly from your phone.

The quilt does look good, the parents will love it! If you do not intent on keeping pictures on your hard drive, then you may have stumbled on the perfect solution for yourself. We didn't put all of our pictures on our new hard drive, a lot were saved to a CD.

@BettyB So long as you keep that mindset, that it will be figured out eventually, you'll be good. We are trying to keep our patience too.

All it takes is an interest and a sewing machine.

That's a lovely baby quilt. I usually just email my pictures to myself if I need to get them on my computer, but I've also never used photoshop for my pictures either.

I used to be able to upload directly but now I can't. It's a pain having to email so many.

@BettyB There are some really lovely prints available now aren't there? The popularity of quilting seems to have resulted in some truly lovely prints.

As the pattern is so simple, I count on adorable prints to give the quilts pizzazz.

I don't add blanket edging as its just an added expense and not necessary.

These quilts are just simple squares in a nine patch pattern with pre-quilted material for the backing. When I taught a younger teacher how to sew last year, we started with a quilt as it was just simple squares.

Yay! Another quilt post. I found it on the side with other posts that might interest me. I should be making a baby quilt for my daughter's baby shower, but I found one I had previously made for a charity then it didn't end up being what they wanted. She will love it.
