Fourth of July!

I know a lot of people have fun plans for the fourth of July, but I'm thinking about just cuddling up with a book and some hot chocolate. I know, I sound really lame because that holiday is supposed to be full of fire-works and fun, but this year I just want to relax. Do you have plans for the fourth of July?

Actually reading and having a warm drink sounds like a great way to spend the holiday. Everyone has different preferences.

I'm glad, and I know the feeling. I hope you still enjoy the day, regardless of celebration or not :)

There's no law to restrict you to only fireworks for the evening. Enjoy your freedom how you like - that's the whole point!

We've already tried to set off some early fireworks and the baby just cried and cried. While the other kids loved it, I'm not willing to take the risk by going out in public anywhere, knowing how much the baby hates it. So we'll spend it like we do every year: we'll watch whatever the neighbors light up and "ooh" and "ahh" from the window.

I'm sure once the baby gets older they will enjoy them more :) That actually sounds really nice. I hope you enjoy your holiday!
