I have been recieving mails from paypal telling me that due to some suspicious activity (?), my account will be limited.
Years ago my credit card was hacked. I learned then that, no matter how legal an email sounden and looked, I must not believe.
So yesterday, as I had more time, I entered in my paypal account in the usual way. There was no problem and the account was not limited. I also learned that I had over $100 there so I asked to be placed in my credit card.
I am sure that thoseemails were scams. Beware.

@judyev they have this mindset that someone will eventually be deceived and believe it.

You should report those to paypal support. Several years ago paypal has reported such activity and is requesting all paypal users who have been receiving such scam to report them to paypal support immediately.

I occasionally get scam emails that purport to be from PayPal. I will go to my account and check unless I know for sure they are scams. I won't open the email even to see what it says.

@jayaramas They're a scam (phishing). They're hoping that people will give them all their personal information including passwords and then they'll be able to log in and empty your account.

@jayaramas I read it and then forward it. I have gotten emails back from paypal thanking me for making them aware of a scam.
