I have two people who I might be switching over to a new system for their websites, which would be fun for me. Thought it would be a good idea to make them a demo video of the features and what they can do. Currently they are using the WordPress platform for a regular website and having a lot of frustrations with the company they are currently using to manage the site. WordPress can be great and user friendly to an extent. It is built for blogging and although websites are possible it is not meant for fancy websites unless you can do a lot of the php coding or know someone who can. So I have been working on the demo video for them to show them just how easy and user friendly the new system would be and give them an idea of what they can do with their sites there. Tonight I finished the first final output draft of the video. Will have to check and see if there is anymore editing I need to do. It was fun making the video, and then doing all the editing as well as adding elements like music and such. I am not a verteran video editor so I am a bit slow but it's fun to do.

I get interested with your post as I have been thinking of having a blog of my own. I am not really techie when it comes to blogging but I am thinking of getting a wordpress because I have read that many like wordpress. Majority mentioned that wordpress is for those serious bloggers. Would you mind if I ask what is the name of the company they are currently using to manage the site? I am a bit curious about it.

Sure, they are using a company called Pro Net. However everyone I know that uses them are not happy with their customer service and prices. They are also using wordpress as a website not a blog. If you're thinking of starting up a wordpress blog search for some theme options for what suits your needs. The themes are easy to install and setup and after that making the blog posts are straight forward and easy. You could easily do that yourself with just some tutorial videos from youtube.

@rbailey83 Thanks a lot for the information you shared with me. I am planning to buy a domain at 1 and 1 dot com and get a free domain from 0000webhost dot com. Do you know them?

@annierose I don't know 1 and 1 dot come, but I do know of 0000webhost. I used them a very long time ago for a free domain. Buying a domain will be good, does 1 and 1 have CPanel? That makes things a lot easier for many different aspects of not only hosting a website but setting up wordpress and other options
