I believe many people can change in a better way if they will have the will to improve themselves, but those with less grey matter in their brains will never change. They will remain idiots forever and the best thing we can do is to try to avoid their company or, if that's not possible, ignore them.

If people really wanted to, they could I guess. But the older personality exists as some level too, which can come out in stressful situations. Coming to idiots, they just have to experience the thing called "Life" more often; being knocked about is as good a teacher as any.
