Do you enjoy travel with a boat or a ship during the summer time ?

I do enjoy taking the star ferry to cross the Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong.It is still the cheapest and oldest vehicle for public transit in the sea and it is only a ten minutes trips. I enjoy the wind and seeing both sides of Hong Kong on this ferry often. However, I think i would enjoy it more when I can travel to other place with a ship or a boat as well. I took a trip to see the dolphin in New Zealand many years ago and the small boat trip was for only few hours and it was fun. How about you ? Share with us ?

Hong Kong? Wow that's fascinating!
Now I do love travelling by boat anywhere. It could be the nearest lake and I'd still be excited. I was on a similar trip like you described, only in Australia. Back when I was in Canberra. I also visited Sydney and one thing is worth everything - taking a trip around the city at night, along the shoreline. It just looks spectacular. I always wanted to do this when they celebrate the new year, but that would probably be too much :)
