Some Days are Better Than Others

If you read the title, you will know that today is going to be one of those better days. Our future daughter-in-law, shown in the photo above, is active in the theater's education program. She is also running the International Festival of Arts and Ideas this summer. But today is her birthday! We will meet her, our son, her parents, and her brother and sister for a birthday dinner at her favorite restaurant this evening. We don't mind the 50 minute drive. We'd do anything for her. Besides, I can't wait to give her her gift! This will definitely be one of those better days for a caring, intelligent, sweet, thoughtful, beautiful, and compassionate future daughter-in-law.

Thank you! No, it's a very large cash gift, nice and crisp bills. With their trip to Mexico for scuba diving, I thought it would come in handy. She could also put it in the bank, which I'm hoping!
