I was driving with my daughter in the car a few days ago when I heard her getting a bit animated so looked over to see what had caught her attention - and what a fab spot she'd made!
Our post boxes in England are usually red, but this one was painted bright pink! We couldn't work out the significance but one theory was it had been done to mark one of the Breast Cancer charities.
I checked online and sadly it's not a new fashion, post boxes are still red but this one is being repainted and the undercoat is pink - personally I think it's a shame to paint over this lovely colour!

haha @Inlemay - I wonder if the same has occurred to the young (non gay) lads on the street!

The undercoat is pink. It looks lovely just the way it is!

@chrisandmark I know right! But now we know pink is the primer color so make the post boxes so vibrant!

I know @infatuatedbby - shame they're going to paint it over boring red soon!

Wouldn't that be brilliant @JohnRoberts - to paint postboxes in colours to represent the various charities and causes?!
