Another Computer Episode

I'm sorry I haven't been on mylot much the last two days. Our crazy computer is on the blink again. Yesterday it would not start at all. We took it to the shop and they checked it out, said some bug had gotten into the computer, they couldn't get it out but they disabled it and thought our computer would work all right. We brought it home and it still wouldn't turn on. Late today my better half finally got the computer turned on. They told us at the shop it isn't windows 10 that's causing all the trouble. I don't know if I believe it. In any case, I feel sure we will have to take the computer back to the shop and let them keep it a day or so to check everything out. In the meantime I'm making as many comments as possible.

My computer is a bit funny today too. I've been on Windows 10 for a while and don't usually have too many problems.

I wouldn't care if our computer would only start when we turn it on. I keep hoping it will do better.

Put a thermometer in the cd tray and dust with cool damp cloth to keep the fever down. If it goes to sleep it might need the rest. Poor computer.

@Bluedoll The computer didn't work yesterday afternoon at all, but it started right up this morning. I think it has something against afternoons and evenings.

My computer is making all kinds of noises....my daughter keeps teasing that it's going to blow up. I'm actually afraid it might. I just don't have the money to take it to the shop :(

Our computer is still under warranty, so there was no charge for checking it out. but they couldn't find anything wrong.

I hate when my compturs start to go. I usually go through one every 2 or 3 years because I use them so much.

I have an Ipad but I can only get on a few sites from there and mylot isn't one of them.

Maybe they can put a newer opting system in there. You can buy Windows 7 and other operating systems at Walmart.

I would not advise anyone to get windows 10, but they tell us at the shop that we must have it for this computer.

A couple of days after writing this post, my better half decided to have the monitor checked and that's what caused all the trouble.

You're right but we've only had this computer a few months, it's under warranty now.
