Tender moments

Bird watching is one of my favorite hobbies..Watching birds at their private tender moments makes me feel like an intruder. However, things happen at the most unexpected moments. Sometime ago I was sitting at my kitchen window writing a piece of fiction when I was distracted by two rose ringed parrots on a tree near by making loud noises.
I fetched my camera just to film them and possibly make a video..but when I came back the scene had changed from rowdy behavior to very quite, tender expressions of love. Some of the pictures I got are not the finest because they are against the sun ( I couldn't get any other view from my window) and the tree was quite a distance way for my kind of camera lens. However, I thought that these special moments are really worth capturing and sharing..
Tenderness and love aren't the copyrights of humans they belong to the animal kingdom as well.

@else34 Like your nephew I have a little cousin who is an encyclopedia of birds. She is just 11 and she can identify any bird.. I often ask her when in doubt. Her brother has given her a good pair of binoculars and a camera for documentation on her blog.

@sofssu What a good photo .Those parrots and those leaves go together nicely. As you said tenderness and love are not for human alone. You have caught the moment nicely on camera.

@silvermist Its in fact really difficult to figure out the parakeets in the background. Their loud noise gives them away.
