Best friends

Our best friends change according to our surroundings. I remember I had a best friend in school time but we went to higher education, our colleges separated us. We remained good friends, but I started spending more time with some other friend, and sooner the bomd grew stronger and he became my best buddy. Similarly, as life advanced, the best friends changed. Unbldoubtedly, the old friends remained friends, and would always have a special place in my heart. Has it happened with you?

Definitely it has. Infact your post reminded me of my best friend in school. But I think after a point of time we become mature and identify our friends who we think are nice and may be best and then they remain with us.

Are you still in touch with your school friends or the friendship faded with time?

I have a group of friend in college and until now . Though , since two of them now lives in Canada with their families we get to see each other only when they come home for a vacation and sometimes that's every two years . Still , our friendship remained though not much close anymore .

Time and distance does come in the way of close relationships.. I do have a great friend from the time we were in playschool. We can still pick up the phone and talk as if nothing has changed.

Yes that's true. Our circle of friends grow in number because of our environment. We have close friends in school and also in our workplace. My close friend in college is still my friend until now.
