I just finished reading "The Reef" by Nora Roberts. It was fantastic. It have romance, heartbreak, mystery, mayhem, and history all rolled into one book. It held my interest from beginning to end. The storyline was a typically good one by Nora Roberts. In the book the one thing that kept causing a problem was "Angelique's Curse". An amulet that was reported to have been owned by a witch who had been burned at the stake. Before she died she was believed to have cursed the amulet and anyone who was in possession of it. It was a beautiful piece of jewelry that was worth millions. If you like this kind of story I highly advise you to pick up this book and give it a try. I loved it.

I have read a couple of historicals and enjoyed them but they are not my first choice in reading. I have some Nora Roberts books in my house "to be read", but have yet to read any of her novels. Too many books, so little time.

@patgalca I have quite a few by her. Also by Iris Johnston, Dean Koontz and Stephen King.

@RubyHawk I think most of us who love reading find that there are always more books out there to read than time to read them.

I am still working on the second in the series "Outlander", and anxiously await the time when I can sit in the comfort of our new home to finish reading it! I have read a few of Nora Roberts books and know that her books are a good read. Thanks for the review. Sounds like an interesting book that I would enjoy!

Do you know that Nora Roberts is also J.D. Robb? I think those books are mostly Harlequinn Romances.

@JudyEv she does have a terrific reputation. She can take you, in her books, places you would never be able to go otherwise.
