Boomtown for the motion theater and arcade, Eldorado Hotel Casino for the restaurants, John Ascuaga's Nugget for food, Meadowood Mall for shopping...

Wow thanks for the great ideas! Next time I go I will have to check out boomtown and the nugget. I do agree with Eldorado for food...that and harris has this awsome buffet place!!!

when my Hun and I went to reno we almost got blown away 2 tornados, snow and gail force winds. Plus, Reno does not compare to Las Vegas it is going down hill, 4 hotels were closed and it was cold, very little activities and expensive to go to the shows.

Yeah I agree that Las Vegas is much better, but it is farther away from me. This also causes it to be more expensive. I between the bay area and sacramento in Cali so its only a couple hour drive for us if we want to head over there. I've even pulled it as a day trip a few times with friends. Sorry about the weather, it is very snowy and stormy around there in the winter! Wish you guys could have had more fun! How long ago did you guys go? They have started building up a little bit again I think.

Well Las Vegas is bigger and better...but Renos only two ta three hours away where as LV is like 6-9 hours. But yeah its pretty fun if you like to gamble and see shows!
