Well my daughter is home! And after much hugging and kissing, and eating--out family loves to eat- she is getting settled in. Work starts for her, this Monday! So it is a small amount of down time for her--
For us, July is my quietest month. I am reading and writing and getting some editing done this month--also learning two new arias and a couple of duets to sing at music camp in a couple of weeks!

She has two jobs--she will teach music preschool through 6th grade in the mornings and conduct a children's choir in the afternoons--and she will get health benefits--so I am thrilled for her

@divalounger Some of us qualify for health care cards here (I know it's different to what you're saying) and it is always a great benefit.

@JudyEv It is a great benefit as health care is so expensive here--

You know, it really is--although it can be hard to find practice time when we are all vying for the piano

My children and I didn't get to do much in June or July since my sister had a baby and had lots of complications I had to stay around in case she needed help with her other children or anything. Now that she is doing better my kids and I are going to be very busy in August.
