How to improve relationship with your mather in law?

My mather-in-law is the woman who is very mighty. it is too tired communication with her sometimes. She is thirty years older than me, we have difference idea. But we live together. In her oppion, we must listen to her for all thing, she will catch fire if you are not agree, at least one or two todays for one thing I didn't accept her idea. My husband always support her mather beacuse he just want her mather happy, he can't persuade his mather idea, he is a good son,so I can't live in our way.My mather-in-law make the decision for us replace of ourselves. We are fighting for his mather these days, my husband applogize to me finally, he told me that it was his mather's mistake, but he couldln't refuse his mather every time. He couldn't help blame me when his mather unhappy. So the relationship between my mather-in-law and me is not very good. how to improve it? do you have the same situation as me?
