Do you plan your meal ahead of time

I don't have anything on my fridge right now. I don't know what I should cook these days. I'm going to the groceries but I am still thinking what I would buy. For myself I'm content with eating anything like fried eggs. So it's easy to decide what to buy if only for me but then I have to think what people at home wanted also. So that makes things hard for me to plan what to buy and cook. For me, I just want anything that is easy to prepare and cook. So that I can spend more time to do other things but then it's not possible as I have to think what they wanted not only what's easy for me to prepare.

Yes, I do plan my meals on time. I find that I stay within my budget and I eat healthier when I do this.

Do you cook only for yourself. Or do you also consider what other people at your home want

@hotsummer I cook for myself but I make sure there are extra servings just in case someone else at home want some of what I cooked.

I always do a weekly daily menu plan here at home because it will save me money and time. I only buy what ingredients I need for the whole week and cook our meal everyday except for dinner I need to make something for my husband packed meal.

I guess the best way to go about this is to ask them what they want to eat so that you can include them in your budget and have them cook the food themselves. Saves you from cooking and thinking what they want to eat. They probably want the same thing you like though, easy to cook stuff since we don't really have the time especially on weekdays. :)

No. I can't cook so I buy cheap homemade meals outside.
