Too Much S'more

I admit, I am sometimes an impulse shopper. I bought a bag of these, thinking they would be great for s'mores.
When I actually looked at them, I changed my mind. So hubby and I each roasted just one to eat.
These things are four times as big as the marshmallows we usually use for s'mores.
I saved the chocolate and graham crackers for another day.
Maybe I will just make rice crispy treats or something with these. It is just too much marshmallow for me. Hubby looked funny with a marshmallow mustache.

That is a great idea, I have not made popcorn balls since I did it with my mom. I thought of it, but was not sure it was doable with marshmallows, we used brown Karo syrup.

@GardenGerty Oh yeah, it works well. I made a popcorn cake that way. It was for some friends, and I added M&Ms to the 'mellows, butter, popcorn, and spread it out in a pan, and voila. I love popcorn balls, freshly made. It's been a long while!

@AmbiePam I will do it, possibly adding some nuts. I like nuts.

@JudyEv Marshmallows, as I understand it are sugar and either gelatin or egg whites and vanilla. Maybe all of the above. These things are huge!!

@GardenGerty Marshmallows would be almost all sugar, wouldn't they? Not good for blood sugar levels.

Oh I know, you have such a sweet tooth! One of these melted on top of your pop tart would be good, or even between two chocolate pop tarts.

Both are very good. Right now I have an icebox cake to eat, though. i really do not need a lot of sweet treats, but these are so easy it is hard to resist.

@GardenGerty I don't need a lot of sweets either but there are times you really want to.

S'mores are very rich. I would only want one. yes, the cold marshmallows are yummy and they are good stirred into salads too.

I made them as a store demo one year at Christmas but have not made them at home since. I am seeing potential in this discussion for lots of goodies to make.

I enjoyed slowly roasting, then skinning the roasted part and roasting it again. One was plenty though, and I do not want them to become stale.
