Earning extra money from selling dessert

Philippines
July 11, 2016 7:46am CST
Since last year I started to experiment different kinds of dessert and dishes because I have lots of time during weekend, until some of our friends came over one weekend without notice. During that time I am making puto flan (custard bread) and i let them to taste it. It was was a big suprise when all of them asked for more and i am glad they love it, then the next day i received order from them and from their friends too. Now I am selling this product only during Friday for $1 per box. Most of my customers are call center agent from different company. Hoping my small business will continue and will have more customers. Hope your thinking of making extra income too.

Happy for you,we can not open private small businesses here for tax reasons and loads of red tape. But,is $1 not too less per box of 6?

Actually , a mylotter who is inactive here now , Jaiho , is into this business now . I always see her posting her food products like carbonara in their disposable & microwavable containers . And it seems it's so prolific , she's enjoying it so much , that she doesn't have time here anymore . Keep on doing that and you will soon have a booming business . Congrats .

I have often contemplated making desserts or candies to sell for extra money. Finding time and the extra money to do it is holding me back.

That is a very good idea to make money and I'd definitely choose that if I can cook.

Doesn't selling a food required a food license in your country?

If just a home based business does not required food license also most of my customers are confident that what I am selling are safe. Thanks

That is so awesome how it grew without you meaning for it to happen. I babysit and make extra money that way. =)

Looks interesting. Wait until the day you are paying someone else to make the desserts, and someone different to deliver them...
