The Investigation Discovery channel has become a great channel which makes us aware of the bad people around us. But sometimes the stories seem too dramatic to be true. They seem to be wonderful writing of some crime novelist. Are the stories shown on the channel like Evil Kin, Web of Lies, and Crying Wolfe true?

I think most of them are true but I've never understood why the channels embellish and glamorise the stories so much that they seem untrue!

Most of them are as I'm a MASSIVE real crime fan so generally I look up all the crimes on the net...they're always in some regional newspaper so you can check the facts.
Shows on the main channel such as Moonshiners are mostly all fake and should never be called documentaries.

Since you are from the UK, do you read Real Crime magazine from Imagine Publishing? Because its available in the UK and they make the best magazines.

@boneysharaon No I don't read any magazines like that.
I read true crime books and have quite a few.
If I see that magazine I'll give it a try
