I remember getting a good laugh out of the movie Beetlejuice which came out in 1988. It was considered a comedy fantasy and was directed by Tim Burton. The story revolved around a recently deceased couple who as ghosts decide they want the present occupants of their home gone. Their plan is to scare them away with the help of the delightful and devious ghost named Beetlejuice.
The movie had many good actors including Alex Baldwin and Geena Davis as the ghost couple and Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice. It also starred Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara and Dick Cavett. It was wonderful fun.
Have you ever seen the movie? Here's a video of the dinner table haunting song. I still laugh when I watch it.

He's great but we didn't see him in very many movies after that.

I love that song, but it sticks my head all day. I love that movie too. I think they are doing a remake of that movie.

A remake will never be as good, I don't think. But you never know.

That was back when Michael Keaton was box office. Another reasons why the 80s were great.
