Sad that Game of Thrones might be shown late next year

I am a die-hard Game of Thrones fan and I am really sad about the news that I've read that it might start a little late next year. Well at least there would still be a series next year, not that I'm complaining...but still! Me and other GoT fans were left on a cliffhanger in the last episode of Season 6. The questions that we were carrying around for 4-5 years were at last finally answered but alas! More questions popped up after those questions were answered. Also, some very plausible fan theories are also waiting to be proved or ditched.

Just got started tuning in to GoT in the past two seasons. I don't miss the show as much as TWD but I miss it still. The Mother of Dragons is constantly in my thoughts! I have read that there will be two or three more seasons of GoT. Can't wait!
By chance did you read the books?

I got the chance to read book 1-3. I havent finished reading book 4 yet but I'm urging myself to finish it as soon as possible before they release the 5th book. For you to enjoy it fully, may I suggest that you start from the start and do not cheat using forums and blogs trying to find out who's going to die next! Hehe. It is thrilling to have characters you thought were bad but turned to be morally gray the next season or you're rooting for a specific someone then he was killed. Yes, I developed serious trust issues because of this series

Im not really a GOT fan but I really like the last 2 episodes. Its my wife who is an addict of this series. I bet that while waiting for the next season, she will be preoccupied with other series or shall i say, online items, such as mylot and her blog sites. Hope I can have a marathon of GoT this weekend..

You seriously needed to start the series from the start to fully apreciate the story arc. 3/4s of the characters you are seeing on the latest season are not in the previous seasons and vice versa. Reason is, there's so much characters dying, they had to be replaced by new ones constantly

@chenluna I know nothing about the book. I can only relate to the series. Book has a lot of riddle when I first read the first book. Yes. It is now very clear and Bran's seeing the past is very convincing that Jon is really Lyannas first born. I wonder how will it reveal the next time. Oh. Knowing it has two series left. I cannot imagine no Game of Thrones anymore.

@JustBhem I believe 97% that Jon Snow is a Targaryen. If the fanfiction is true, Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Maybe he is the one that the book series is referring to. The Game of Thrones books are collectively called A Song of Ice and Fire and Jon Snow fit the title like a glove because he is both a Targaryen and Stark
