The blue cornflower

Blue cornflower is the national flower of Germany and Estonia. Cornflower's blue means romantic Cornflower mostly grown wheat fields in Europe, but has now spread to North America and other parts of the world

I've lived in Germany all my life. I've never heard of the cornflower being the national flower. It's true, however, that some organisations use it as their symbol. There aren't many cornflowers left due to the poisonous weedkillers being sprayed on the fields.

This is my first time to see a blue cornflower. Beautiful! I wish we have them here in Manila.
