Is it periodical extinction or periodic extinction? If it is about periodic extinction, there is what we call periodic mass extinction which occurs every million years. You can read a lot of it when you search for the topic.

Thanks for the definition as I thought it might mean absense of periods Interesting topic but how can that be proven I wonder since a million years is long time A presentation idea could be to drop a large rock that goes boom and then leave the room? Question marks are not yet extinct
