Call Center Agent

Being a call center agent is fun and interesting because you can meet different kinds of people. The work is also fun because you can learn a lot of things not only about job but also in your daily lives. Most people in a call center are young especially fresh graduates. You will be able to know what's ACW, avaya and different kinds of auxes. Not only that, your communication skills will enhance because you're always talking to foreign customers. Sometimes a customer service representative will be rude to his/her customer due to loosing of patience. In a call center environment, patience is a virtue. You must be patient enough to your customer, people around you and your supervisor to avoid conflicts. If you have the kind of attitude then you can be a call center agent. You must be flexible enough to some of the updates because from time to time, you will receive updates from the client.

I was a call center agent for a good deal handling calls, emails, and chats. I handled different accounts which ranged from collections to basic customer service, to handling VIP clients. It was a fun experience and the pay was great. The schedule though was a bit of a struggle because of the graveyard shift but it is something that one gets accustomed to.
