The good news is that the International Tribunal has pronounced the judgement in favor of Philippines and struck down the claim of China over the South China Sea. China has been taking up construction activities in the sea in spite of Philippines objection. When the matter was taken to International Court, the judgement was delivered in favor of Philippines. But, China started rejecting the award calling it 'farce'. Recently when the U.S has started operations in the Sea, China raised an objection that the U.S is meddling in the Internal matters of China and any further move will be viewed seriously. China, also undue apathy towards India making an anti-India campaign in the Seol Conference when most of the counties were in favor of India for granting NSG status/membership. China should behave how an NSG Nation should behave in International Relations. It can not dictate to the International Court what and how the Award should be.

There are many details you need to be aware of regarding this sensitive issue, much of which can be found here: A rigged court in Europe has no right to violate previously signed agreements without the consent of Both countries, which China never agreed to. Thus the ousted Philippines President acted illegally, as well as against the wishes of about 90% of his people. So it is right for China, who has not broken any signed agreement, to declare this unenforceable "ruling" a farce. Why are the US in the South China Sea? None of the disputed territories belong to them, nor did any country invite them there to do what they're doing. Day by day, more countries are backing China in The Region. This includes Taiwan, whose leaders office is quoted as saying it "absolutely will not accept" the ruling, adding that the award "is not legally binding". The Prime Minister of Laos who holds Chairmanship over the ASEAN countries (all 30 of them!), said he supports China's stance on the South China Sea Issue & stands ready to work with China to maintain peace & stability in the region. Vietnam's Prime Minister said Vietnam respects China's position on the ruling & added that the dispute must be resolved peacefully through negotiations. The Russian Prime Minister directly opposes the internationalization of the South China Seas dispute or Any interference by outside forces (like the USA). Over 14 countries bordered with China have separate treaties in place covering the issue. China has an extremely good track record of successfully negotiating sea & land borders. China is holding speeches lasting days with senior representatives from high up in countries like Hong Kong explaining China's position, including how the ruling broke two recent signed conventions / acts in three places! In addition, UNCLOS rules state, "until bilateral discussions have been exhausted, a country must not approach the Permanent Court of Arbitration to adjudicate border disputes”. The Chinese discovered Nansha Islands & have the archaeological evidence to prove it. In the 1996 Convention, China signed the declaration of sovereignty over all their claimed archipelagos & islands in the South China Sea. The entire World recognized this in both the Cairo & Potsdam Declarations including the USA & India. Where does India stand now, with nearly every country in the region backing China? To counter your closing argument, China is honouring All of its signed agreements, which the USA & former Philippines President have violated many times over. China is not dictating anything to the PCA, but is refusing its ruling because it never brought it before that rigged Euro-Court in the first place & was deliberately not present!
By now, we've all heard about the Permanent Court of Arbitration's ruling on the issue, right? And that's final, right? Settled? Sure? Down here, both sides of...

I hate to be a doubter but I think that we did won the case legally...but the problem is enforcing the ruling. If nobody does, it just good as that...a statement and nothing else. It will take some will to enforce such and I doubt that a lot of countries will have to get involved. The US will be put on the spot and i don't think they will like that. Hope we have some good alternatives for actions in this case. .

I celebrate the decision but it might be too late. The structures have already been in place. We allowed them to be built. What is NSG?
