Are you the only child, the oldest, the middle child or youngest?
Do you have any brothers or sisters, maybe you are the only child, maybe you are like me, the middle one?
Many people won’t know I’m the middle child and take me to be the oldest, however, I’m not the oldest, in fact, I’m the middle one. Before I was born my parent had a daughter who passed away about a month or so after birth. I can’t remember the whole story behind the way she passed away, something to do with her lungs and not being developed properly. Then a few years later I came ago.

@kevin1877uk It was hard work for my mother - Dad was away in WW2 doing work of a different sort. I was born just after that war started, and hardly saw my father for 6 years.

@kevin1877uk There were 4 brothers and 3 sisters. We lost one brother a little over a year ago.

So you had a sister you never knew. I'm the youngest. That's why I act so childlike (never childish) most of the time. My brothers and sisters still treat me like a child until now, that's why I have a hard time acting like an adult!

Yes, I did have a sister I never knew. I think many of us don't always act our age.

I'm the oldest of three in total.
I've 2 sisters.
I was adopted as a baby, then my mum and dad adopted another girl and then they had my youngest sister naturally.
I also have a biological half brother and sister who are both older and a biological half brother who is younger...all from my biological mothers side.
Apparently I also have other half siblings from my biological fathers side but I know nothing about them as yet.

@kevin1877uk I've met my biological mum a number of times...she lives on an island off ireland.
Never met my biological dad.
I call my parents that brought me up my real parents and the ones that created me my biological parents.

so for all intents are purpose, you are the oldest. because you had no older sibling as you grew up! I am the oldest of 2.

I am in a rather unique position. I am my mother's eldest child with two younger brothers. I am my father's 5th child and was raised with the brother closest in age to me. So I am the oldest child but my half-brother who was 6 years oldered was raised with me and my brothers. I have most of the traits of a first child however.

I am the oldest. I have 2 younger half brothers. One brother is 10 years younger than me and the other is 7 years younger than me. I'm not really close with either of them sadly.

I was the oldest child until we became a blended family. I still have some oldest child tendencies (being responsible, taking care of my younger brother as best as I can, etc.), but I enjoyed finally having older siblings. They taught me about cool music (The Band, Jesse Winchester, John Prine, etc.) and took me cool places.

RIP your elder sister. I am the oldest child. I got a lot of love from my grandfather, grandmother and also from my great-grandmother. I miss my childhood and my old home.

I am in the middle one out of 3 . We are all boys and I am different . hehe :)
