Well, David Cameron is serving his last few hours as Prime Minister before Theresa May, the current Home Secretary, takes over.
On the radio they were asking people what they'd remember Cameron for. The only thing I could really think of was his shiny face in some of the Tory election ads. Not really a promising sign. I didn't know he had a disabled son who died though, so I learned something new.
Don't know much about the new PM either (including how to spell her name!). Except for the fact that the Home Officer doesn't tend to get particularly liberal leaders. Which might not bode well.

I will admit that i watch some of your country's PMQs and I was shocked that he was resigning when your country did BREXIT. Though I quite admire him that he had the guts to resign (politicians are not known to be generous with power after all), I thought it was a bit of reckless since from what I read, he said he will resign in Ocotber. So, it was good that he was capable of resigning, but I wish he stuck to what he said - but that is quite generous since we are talking about politicians.

@jeanneyvonne To a large extent, the actual party leader can be irrelevant. People often vote for either a local MP, or the party they like. It's actually a bit worryingly quick; I would have preferred there to be more candidates for the job. It's possible that no-one in their right mind wants the job at the moment.

@egdcltd That quick? Man. I wish my country could have some sense of government in my part of the world. Sure, we might have the same ilk of poltiicians, but I do like your PMQs - getting your PM to defend what his government does. Over here, our elections are a mix of popularity contests, beauty contests and a bad comedy show - this is just my opinion but this often the reason why I often debate with myself if I want to vote..

I would think he will be best remembered as the PM who resigned over Brexit.
