I think many people will speak their own language and learn another language such as (English). or if your mother tongue is English, you probably will learn other language such as French or German, etc. It si never easy to learn a new language and practice and learn from making mistakes are always the path the success. I still remember learning German in my University life and it was really hard but fun as well. However, for me it was only my third language but worth six credits . I end up dropped the course after tried it for two lessons. I didn't want to take to risk and get a fail grade by the end of the year. So, not for me at that time but I did like to learn it when it has no pressure. I can learn it from Youtube or take some course if I want to learn it now. Cause I don't need those credits for my graduation anymore. Maybe I will enjoy it much more right now. How about you ? Share with us ?

Back in the university days I studied Spanish. A few years back like 6 or 7 years ago, I tried to learn on my own the Korean language. About two years ago, I tried French.

My mother tongue is Filipino (Tagalog). English is my second language.
When I was in College, I had Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 as subjects. Then, 2 years ago, I enrolled at Instituto Cervantes to learn more about the Spanish language. Been learning Spanish for years now.
