A Great Weekend

Had a fun weekend with my daughter. The Mariposa Folk Festival was on from friday afternoon/night until sunday night. The festival has bands playing throughout the afteroon and night all weekend long. Think there were a total of 15 stages setup all with different musicians playing all weekend. Lots of different vendors for arts and crafts and also workshops for different things like song writing and different craft making. My daughter got 3 henna tattoo's (a paste from a plant is used that dye's the skin and lasts for 1 to 2 weeks). I also got a couple. Have thought about getting a tattoo for a long time but just wasn't sure if i'd like it so i thought the henna tattoo would be a perfect way to try it out. It was a hot weekend and also had some rain storms but it was fun. Have the next few days to just relax. My daughter, Alizabeth, is over at her grandparents for the day and overnight. She is doing some sewing with her grandma so I am just relaxing at home getting some house chores done.
