We Got Lucky

Some horrible storms just went through the area - over 100,000 people are without power in my city and the surrounding area. We got very lucky at my house! Only damage is that a piece of siding is now loose and our power didn't go out. The storm was so strong it even pulled down traffic signals, the concrete type, and caused roofs to collapse. One of my friends had power lines come down at her house and had to call the fire department to come help. The center that I work at is also without power, and probably will be closed tomorrow. So, tonight I'm counting my blessings that the storm missed our house pretty much!
