Would you ever consider getting Lasik the corrective eye surgery?

It can be as low as 250 per eye. However, depending on what sort of visual correction you need it could be 10 times that much. I think I may have seen specials for less than 250..not too much more than the cost of glasses. I would consider Lasik because it might be cheaper in the long run than wearing glasses or contacts.

I wouldn't put my eyes in the hands in some doc who offers sales like that. Once a mistake is made I'm screwed. I would go to a reputable doc I know and have dealt with before. With the right doc I know I would go through the surgery. If he feels I wouldn't be a good candidate he will deny me surgery. That's why I respect him so much.

Well, you don't hear many stories of Lasik going wrong at least I haven't. And some of the doctors who perform the sugery for less..it doesn't mean they are not reputable just because they garner less money for the procedure. Obviously, due diligence is needed.
