The good news is that my cancer is not growing and is not what is causing my pain.
It seems that I have some cracked ribs and the doctor feels it is from the radiation treatments I had in the past which can weaken the ribs.
Seems like it is something that doesn't happen often but does happen to some people and I'm one of the lucky ones or should I say unlucky.
I will just keep taking the two pains pills each day and put the pain patch on, if it becomes any worse I am to call him and he will order steriods for me.
I won't have to see him for another 6 months.

The ones I was put on caused problems so I was told to buy the Tylenol extra strength and use my pain patch with them, they are helping with the pain.

@Marcyaz The way you stated it sounded like you were taking two pain meds a day - that would e a lot - but two tylenol is quite different.

This is bad luck for you. Will the ribs heal or are the bones weakened now?

if you take steroids, you don't have to see the doctor for 6 months?
