FaceTime with my Boyfriend.

9½ years ago, when my boyfriend and I first started dating - we would talk on the phone all night until we fell asleep with our phones on. This was probably the first few months of our relationship.
When we think about it now, we thought it was quite silly. But that's typically the early stages of dating, then it was "webcam", then FaceTime is invented. We hardly FaceTime each other because we see each other everyday..
Right now, we're FaceTiming and I am having the giggles because it reminds me of when we first started dating. Very rare for us to FaceTime.
Are there any things you did when dating? To realize its now silly?
I know some leave their computers or Skype, FaceTime on when they sleep especially if they're long distance relationships. I had a co-worker leave his FaceTime on with his girlfriend (but I thought that was insecure since it was the work environment.)

@LadyDuck Aww, that's good you two worked together back in the days! Ah yes landlines. I was on the phone all the time with my bestie in Middle School with landlines. I'd get trouble because no one could call in + there wasn't call waiting then..

@infatuatedbby We worked together there was no need to use the phone. At those times we only had landlines, no cell phones. One phone for all the family.

It was typical love letters for me lol! But i only wrote it when I'm angry. My boyfriend then usually turned his back on me when we're angry. So I would make an angry note and would ask our messenger to deliver it to him. Then he would be right in front of me in a jiffy.

@infatuatedbby He was scared to lose me. The note came with a threat.

We just use Skype but it was rarely since both of us are very busy. When he visited me last June, we still did skype video chat even he was staying in our house. I was in our veranda that time using my skype in laptop and he was inside our house using skype on his phone. My family was laughing with us because we can talk personally but we rather used skype as if we were miles apart.

My husband and I never wanted each other to leave for any length of time at all-not even to go to the store. LOL. We wanted to spend every second together. Now looking back it was a little silly.

Facebook Video is very similar to FaceTime. My boyfriend doesn't use Facebook that's why we use our phones to FaceTime. It is very nice to remember those moments.

In today's world technology is key to a successful relationship. Without the use of social networking apps we cannot interact with our loved ones. Emoji are best way to interact with your partner as they are the only way of showing emotions on web..

Back in the day, I was only good with the early stages of texting, but it never went up since then.

That's very nice! It's just the thought of knowing they're there on the other side ~ no talking necessary

If you have an Apple device, you can call (FaceTime) see the person face to face like a webcam but with your iPhone , iPad or on an Apple laptop/computer.
It's like Skype, Webcam, Video Call.

My mother would facetime with people often. I never had an interest in it at all. I do not like even talking on the phone only texting!

I don't think you mean "insecure" but "un secure"
I remember being on myspace all night with my now ex. Or texting or calling... The sweet "puppy love" of relationships.
It's sweet that the two of you are now facetiming and it reminds you of the first stages of your relationship.

Oooh! What I meant was the girlfriend is insecure of the boyfriend while he's at work. Like, he may flirt with another girl or something. Sometimes I went to his desk and then he'll be like this is my co-worker so/so, so she won't get jealous....
Yes, that was the puppy love of the relationship. I think its a stage everyone passes by! It's very rare we FaceTime, but when we do - I find it very cute.
