In reality there is proof that Roman women already wore bikini. Here is a photo of a 3rd Century mosaics of Bikini Girls at the Villa Romana at Piazza Armerina in Sicily. I thought that this was interesting to know.

@Marcyaz Those are mosaics made by Ancient Romans, Sicily did not exist at those times, the whole area was the Roman Empire.

Looks like you've covered a lot of interesting tidbits, some I knew some I did not. The first US railroad track opened in 1830, it was 13 miles long ..... I'll bet ridin a horse for 13 miles was a feat, now adays it seems like a short distance.

First episode of Doctor Who aired on BBC TV in 1963. I picked this because it wasn't until 40 years later that I realized I should have been watching the show!!! How was I supposed to know the Doctor was going to keep regenerating? I was only 8 years old!
