A few years back he hauled fire wood. That is when the truck took a beating.

Hopefully the truck won't hit a big bump while it is "squatting" down the road!

He was beat a t the end of the day. I was too. He did all the heavy lifting by himself. I don't know where he finds the strength.

Our faithful vehicles certainly suffer when we are moving or getting ready to move.

Well, they just don't make trucks like they used to. With its designer wheels and extended cab that is more a pleasure vehicle than a working truck.
I had one that I could stack lumber and roofing shingles on higher than the cab and it wouldn't even breath hard let alone squat. It was a 67 chevy stepside. Now that wasa working man's truck.

When my husband sees someone driving a Truck like it was made of glass he gets bent out of shape and tells out that he would show them what a Truck is made for!

I followed my husband to the dump and there were no problems. He was beat at the days end though. The truck was okay.

@Carmelanirel2 We really had our work cut out for us. He of course is the muscle and did most of the heavy lifting.

@ElusiveButterfly Oh I'm sure he was tired, that looks like a lot of work involved.

He used ratchet straps to hold it in place.
