Music Invokes Childhood Memories

I was reading an article about the Beatles earlier and was reminded of something from my childhood. 
The article mentioned the song "Yellow Submarine" and it immediately brought a thought to mind. When I was a child, my mom used to sing "Yellow Submarine" to me when I was about to go to bed. That's how I first heard the Beatles! I remember loving the song, and her singing of it invoking thoughts of myself living in a submarine under the sea, watching mermaids and brightly colored fish swimming all around me.

Lots of songs bring back those kind of memories but for the life of me I can't think of a specific one right now. We sang Yellow Submarine when I was a preteen. My teenage older brothers and sisters were really into it.

Speaking of Beatles, i played their CD yesterday for a couple of hours while waiting for someone.
My brothers used to collect CDs when i was little. They love Scorpions, Eagles, bon jovi, and the likes. Whenever i hear their songs, i remember my mom's house.

There's actually a lot of songs that remind me of my childhood days. Whenever I hear them I think back of the days I spent with my parents or the days I just played all day under the sun.

Aww ... that was a sweet memory of you and your mum, Nikki. Let's see ... I remember my mom singing "Hit the Road, Jack," when i threatened to run away. My mom didn't play....
