my dog is sick

Hello mylotters just waan ask if some of you had experienced this. I have a 5 months old dog, Last saturday he is not feeling well. He sleeps a lot and sunday I saw him wheezing, sneezing and seems to have a runny nose. When I came near him, he tries to move away from me. I do not have a medicine prepared for him and I cannot afford to bring him to a vet. I have my own stock of citirizine as a preparation whenever my allergy attacks. So I gave him one tablet. Later that day the sneezing stops but I heard him coughing. A very dry cough and he has a fever. I only have a cefalexin available at the moment. I wonder if It would be fine to give him.
