Should Pokemon GO be abolished by the Law?

So what do you think of this new game Pokemon GO? As much as hanging out, fun, excitement this game brings, it's also bad. What's the point to go for a walk, while all the way along you are looking at your phone... It makes people even more addicted to technology By the way, Pokemon GO claims its first victim. A guy in Mexico fell of a bridge trying to capture a Virtual Pokemon. Teen trying to capture an aqueous pokemon, fell in the river and drowned to death.. I think it's just another stupid game that will attach people to their phones/computers even more.

I don't personally play it and while I agree with your points, it's not all bad. It gets people out for some fresh air and exercise You just really have to be aware of your surroundings and not be silly so you don't fall off a cliff or something!

Well yes Anna i definetely agree with you. Again, it's not the game fault, it's the people fault that are not careful while playing it..

Unfortunately I have no chance to try this game since it is not available in my country. This is a very interesting and cool game. It is so creative to play the game in the real world. Although I read the accident news about the people who got wounded because they play Pokemon Go. But I think it is still not fair to blame this game. After all, they are adults. They know what's dangerous and they should play it wisely.

@supervalon Just supposed a group of people who go to find Pokemon together and finally one found it. I wonder whether others will "rob" his Pokemon

Yep, someone wrote that below, i completely agree with you guys, they should be aware of their surroundings. Btw, don't worry i think you can play it via some program even before it's released. But i would suggest you wait little more until it's released in China. Here they started slowly releasing it world-wide..

Nope. People just need to use their brains. That guy fell off a bridge because he was an idiot.

As is usually the case for me, when something is all the rage, I hear about it a lot but don't really know what the big deal is. Pokemon GO is no exception. Only today did I realize that you go outside to play it. One of my kids said the game would be no fun for them because our neighborhood is boring. By the time I figure out what Pokemon GO is about, Pokemon GO will be gone!

Yeah, you actually have a point, because it's same as always, new "entertainment" game but an upgraded version, - this time you go on the street and catching virtual stuff like retarded . After all Pokemon GO it's not all that bad..

@supervalon Yeah it's like people almost had a good idea to get people out of the house for fresh air but like you said, still looking down at our phones. I've not played it myself. It looks fun but I have no urge to play it. I didn't read it properly but apparently someone was going to / wanted to sue the company because she did or nearly got hit by a car. I mean come on! It would be like suing McDonald's for having a heart attack after eating too many burgers. If it's not good for you or you can't multitask, then don't play the game.

@Daljinder Me either. Thank goodness. Was sick of hearing about it. But no doubt something new will come along just as annoying.

People should be more sensible as because of few people the law cannot ban such a good game

I think people just need to be more careful when using technology in general not just our smartphones. I am sad to admit this but once I can download it to my phone I will be walking more, this makes me feel bad for some reason. But I will be careful. I hardly use my phone so I guess this could increase my phone use.

You don't have to be walking around looking at your phone to play the game. Your phone will notify you if there's a Pokemon within range as long as you have the app up. I don't know anyone who actually just walks looking at their phone the whole time. The game reminds people during the loading screen that they need to use common sense while playing and to not forget the safety rules. I don't play, but I think that people are way over reacting trying to blame the game for people being dumb. Many children who have trouble connecting with people have been highly benefitted by the game, and many people are finding it easier to get their daily steps in while playing. I think it's way more good than bad.
