Hello, many of us have thought about purchasing things that we want/need, but don't have in your city or country..
So what's your current state with such sites (amazon, ebay, etsy e.t.c)? Have you ever tried to purchase things online? How much time the shipping took? Was the size of the object exactly like you wanted?

I've shopped online for over a decade but mostly it's for the things I use all the time and since I hate standing in line for such I figured why not have it delivered to my door and save myself that trip. Usually I shop Walmart.com for things like my monthly phone payment, soups, pastas and many other necessities. Sure beats wasting gas.
In case you're wondering, I make it a point to buy enough so I never pay shipping and handling nor do I buy more than once a month.

I've noticed over the years that online shopping works best when I stick with big name retailers like Walmart @supervalon they have refunded my purchases every time something was wrong with a package I'd get and never once have they expected me to return the items I got .... of course I always make it a point to take pictures of my packages if they come to me damaged, that way they have proof I am not lying.

Yeah, there are many good things for cheap prices, but i'm sometimes skeptical about that. Better check the seller rating, so i make sure i won't get scammed.

I have shopped from Amazon many times, it works well in our country. Even Flipcart is good.

@supervalon Yes, most of the goods came before time. It depends on what product you are buying and from where. Also the place you stay, I stay in a metropolitan city so receiving goods is not a problem as all service providers are available.

@VivaLaDani13 Money back thingy with them is good. I have always received what I purchased fine. Only time I didn't was when I bought something from Hallmarks website. Can you believe it?

@VivaLaDani13 You already know about my eBay. I still haven't gotten to make a new account. But Amazon works fine too when buying things. Have you tried that?

I personally like amazon. Then there is the site jet.com and also dollar tree. I shop in many different sites online. I also shop on those sites through MyPoints. I gain points to earn money when I shop through there. So for me it is a win win situation.

I am an online shopping lover and I do most of the shopping online at Taobao, my No. 1 favorite shopping site. I love this site as we can always buy things at a much cheaper price than what we can get from real shops. So far, we have been VIP4 at this shopping site and we have bought various kinds of things. It is a lot of fun shopping online and it helps kill the time. It is nice and convenient with all the stuff you buy delivered to where you live. So it is the same with my wife.

Yes yes. I like online shopping because there are many things that i want to buy, but can't find them in my city or country. Also there are many cheap things on the internet that you can buy for a few bucks. But i honestly don't know which site works the best.

i've several places that i order from. from horse wormer to vitamin supplements. i don't ebay'n etsy 'n such. amazon works't times, though such's gotten ridiculous coz they're not the shippers much these days 'n ya wind'p with schtuff comin' from all o'er 'n all 'n diff'rent days - which i find most annoyin'.
i trust the folks i order from, they're schtuff arrives'n time 'n if'n somethin''s amiss (like when the ups fella runs o'er yer box...) they're quick to send a replacement. i've learnt o'er the years that many times "cheaper" means a cut 'n customer service 'n to me that parts more important than a "great bargain" that ne'er arrives.
