I Have An Idea With My Own MyLotting

I was responding to a comment on here yesterday, and I came up with an idea for my own MyLotting habits. It’s not anything big, just a plan that works for me, but I still wanted to share it with you all.
I’ll make the usual posts Monday through Thursday, rather than Monday through Friday. Since I am not going to need to come up with post ideas for Fridays, then I may be able to then I may be able to make more than two posts on some days, if that makes sense.
I’ll use Fridays to read through posts, respond to comments and interact with others instead of posting. I’ll either do the same for weekends, or I’ll just take the weekend off from MyLotting.
Now of course things can change due to babysitting, writing, events, not feeling well… or just plain boredom. I may get to a few comments and posts over the week, or I may decide to post the Gratitude Challenge on a Friday or a weekend blog post. I am going to take my little plan one week at a time.
It may not maximize my earnings around here, but that’s okay. The whole idea is to come up with a plan that works for my schedule.
I’m gonna get back to work, and I’ll try to be back soon. See ya later, everyone.

My strategy is purely to get back to people as fast as I can from any notifications I receive.
I find that works best for me, I never post a discussion and leave it I'll always be around for at least a couple of hours to get back to people.
Then it's like a chat site and that is what I like most and it does tend to earn the most money in my opinion.
What I don't like is when I have to go to bed then sometimes get up to quite a few new responses that have been left for a while

My plan isn't going to earn me a lot, but that's okay by me. With my freelance writing, babysitting and other things going on, it's a better plan for my schedule. I don't always have the time to spend hours getting back to people daily, so at least with this plan I give myself a little more time to do so. :)
And sometimes I lose track of my notifications lol. I had to turn the notifications for "likes" off so I could see the notifications for comments, responses, mentions, etc.

@Mike197602 I think "likes" were the only ones I turned off for now lol.

@tammys85 I turned off all but the bare minimum.

Each of us pretty much needs to figure out our own strategies for interacting and earning.

Yes I agree considering everyone's time, schedule, and days are different.

@carebear29 I'm glad it's working for you! I'll really have to give it a try this upcoming week, as other events caused things to change this past week.

I could be wrong, but I believe the best way to 'maximize your earnings' here is to start discussions in topics on which others have "something to say about that" (I know I just 'crowded' a few dangling participles and/or severed propositionals etc. in there, but 'something to say about that' is what it is ).
That seems to be what the FAQ-page says: "Any time you start a discussion, respond to a discussion, or comment in a discussion, you are making a contribution that is eligible for earnings.... The more that other myLot users interact with what you post, the more money it will make. If no one reads what you wrote, interacts with it, or otherwise considers it interesting, then you likely won't earn anything."
... unless either 1) myLot's changed how it works since September 17, 2015 or 2) you're talking more about 'task-completing' than 'discussion-joining/-starting/-continuing.'

What ever works best for you, just stick with it.
