Software or Hardware?

Recently I discovered that another new term has been added to the two main part of computer I used to know. But then , I found out that the term they called it "peoplesware". Then I beginning to reason where this new term should belong, should it belong to hardware or software? I'm confused, need your help oooo!!!

It think with the development of smart devices like home automation, it should belong to.

"Peopleware" doesn't really refer to either software or hardware. Software and hardware are two of the basic components of a computer system and 'peopleware' refers to the third - the role of humans in the development and use of hardware and software.
Although the term seems to have been invented in the late 1970's it became popular through the publication of "Peopleware: Productive Projects and Teams" by Tom DeMarco and Timothy Lister in 1987.
You can think of 'peopleware' as anything to do with the behaviour and collaboration of humans in the development and use of computer systems.
