I've been away from myLot for ages and ages, but here I am back again, to write on a subject that has probably been discussed way too much. Pokemon Go. There are a lot of negative stories about all the accidents happening because of the distraction of catching a Pokemon. Personally, I think it's a lovely , simple, harmless craze. I love the fact that it's kids in their twenties who like it just as much as younger kids. They get out and about to catch them, for hours at a time. And I saw a wonderful post on facebook that summed it up perfectly. It went like this. "So for the last 5 years people have been sitting in front of their screens catching candies (Candy crush saga) and thats okay. But get a game that gets people out of the house and possibly meeting other people and it's bad for you! How?"

It seems like a fun game. Geocaching is just about finding a "cache", but I never take anything from the cache as the fun part is finding it. Pokeman seems like a ramped up version of geocaching. People have to be responsible for their own behaviour.

I have heard of geocaching, but never looked at it closely. Maybe I should, it sounds like fun. I like the idea of just finding where a cache is, not taking things.

Exactly right. And it is also just the media trying to sensationalise things that are really quite normal.

Yes, I think it will go very quickly. Apparently, other than actually catching the pokemon, there is not much more to the game, or so I understand.
