Home Alone

It's rare that I have the house to myself but today I am Home Alone!!
Since the house is mine I"m staying put, not going to visit mom and just relaxing. Even the dogs are asleep and probably enjoying the peace & quiet too.
I got all the chores done that needed attention earlier so now I have the day to myself and I'm hoping to be able to catch up here since I've been negligent with my notifications lately. With so much going on it's nice to be Home Alone!!
Ahhhhh life is good

@Marilynda1225 My husband is always around, I cannot even clean like I would like because he complains if the floor is wet or if I use the vacuum. One day alone every two weeks would be perfect.

@LadyDuck my daughter goes to work and son in law is on disability so he's home every day. I have the same problem when it comes to cleaning

Having your husband in the hospital was stressful I'm sure as I know how much I'm stressed with my mom in there now but I know what you mean about a day to yourself without any worries. I'm happy to have the house to myself today

Having the house to yourself is awesome. =) I need to get my chores done today, all I did so far was straighten up a bit.

@Marilynda1225 It is foreign to me. Lol. I always say it would be nice but then when it does happen (once in a blue moon) I am miserable! Funny how life works.

Since you have a big family I"m sure a day to yourself is almost a foreign concept.

I used to have the remote to myself before my daughter & her family moved in. Once there's a man in the house it seems as if it's automatically their possession

@Marilynda1225 They have quite a team doing all the documenting onto forms which would drive me to distraction as they might only do three or four items an hour. Compared to what they're doing the date entry is a piece of cake. I only spend maybe 3 or 4 mornings there a year and that's enough to keep up with the work.

there are times I still enjoy a bit of peace and quiet but don't like being total alone here when I feel ill. happy for you since there were times in the past I truly could not get that when the kids were growing up
