Must Get Back To My Walking

I haven't been keeping my walking schedule lately. Of course, I have used all the usual excuses, like no time for it. But it must stop, it must stop now. I do feel so much better when I walk every day, so why the "no walking attitude" right now? Of course, my sister is here right now and we do different things, she can't walk much anymore as she sometimes gets dizzy. Are you keeping your walking schedule this summer?

It is hard to keep to an exercise schedule when you have much more interesting things to do.

I'll admit that my walking schedule is a little different now, as I'm not bringing my girls to preschool or pick them up. But soon, they'll be going to a daycare not too far and I'll be able to do some walking again.

No, I haven't been walking either. I do my gardening instead, but I know it's not as good as walking.

I find that daily walking helps a lot more than my gardening.

I walk from my work place to a distant car park which is about 10 min walk. Not much but I guess it is something.

Walking more and eating less are part of my list of after vacation promises. I will wait a week before getting into the scale.

During the very hot and humid days I have to confess that I do not walk as much, but I do try to walk more indoors at work, its less of course but some is better then none.

No, I can't walk when it is so hot and humid. It's even to hot early in the morning. Maybe when it starts getting cooler. I wish I had a treadmill to walk on during the summer. Maybe I can ask Santa for one.

@simone10 Keeping my fingers crossed that you can get into a 3 bedroom house soon, very soon.

Do you have the room to place the treadmill? It is very bulky.

@marlina Probably not right now but once we are able to move into a house, I will. I really miss only having 2 bedrooms instead of 3.

Nope. I was walking everyday when I was at school. Now that I am at home for the summer I haven't kept up with walking like I should. My doctor has told me that I need to lose a few pounds because it would help naturally lower my blood pressure and make my headaches go away. Well I went to him in March and since then I have lost four pounds. If I could just stick with my walking and weight lifting regularly I could loss a lot more.

the only walking I've been doing is from my car to the rehab place where my mom is. Some days the parking is horrible and I get in extra steps from a space that is further away.

I hope you got lots of walking this time. I always do lots of walk in the campus each building is so far from one subject to another, so tiring.Sometimes, I run just to reach to the next schedule on time, plus when I arrived home, I jogged in our lawn good for 30 minutes.I feel so relax.
