This year I am cutting down on some of my wasted money. I have decided to give up on the domains which I wanted to buy and build some business on. For years I did nothing on them. And it only wasted my money. I'd say Its time to wrap some chapters. I am going ahead and not paying for them from this year onwards. So that is sayonara to some projects. Now going to be super focused on small number of projects. I have got domain name for my youtube channel. And that's all for now with domain purchases. Saving money

I think there is no harm in trial and there is regret too. Because its either you gain knowledge or you gain money. All the same

I think that lots of people got caught on buying domain names with big hopes of big money. But it isn't that easy.

I'm having debates on my upgrades with some of the traffic exchanges. One in particular I have been paying $6.90 a month for my upgrade and if my team doesn't take 3rd place to earn 30 cents a week I only earn about 3 cents a day average.

@skysnap It's used to be much better as we earned 10 cents for surfing 600 pages and there were prize pages with pennies...and pennies for playing the VTG game. We collect all 3 zubees while surfing, but free members get that too, they just have to surf more pages to get to them.

@marsha32 it's kinda energy draining to do that isnt it?

domains are needed when you want to setup as business. otherwise free would do.

nice move, domain names are not good in banking service.

yeah and the issue was names were super specific and not niche. so selling them wont give much money either.

I had a domain name that I paid $12 for last year. Recently someone offered me $200 for it and I said sure (yay!) I tend to scatter myself a bit too. You're probably wise to concentrate on certain projects only.

@skysnap If there is no income from them and you have to keep on spending money to retain the domains it is better to give up the Domains.Wise decision.

I bought a domain before but just for fun. I know nothing about monetizing a blog/site at that time. I still want to buy a domain so I could keep all my old articles and pictures even if I wont earn from them.

yes that would be surely passive income. it'd be low in comparison but better than nothing.

I don't really understand this , domain names? But it seems like a sensible decision
