Good Evening Friends!
I have always heard it that one day The Earth will also end and I keep wondering if it is true or not. Its written there in all religious books too. I am really amazed how anyone can presume such a big thing to happen!!
Have you ever wondered for the same thing!

@Bector there are many who feel the same way you do and it's understandable considering the fact that many religious leaders have not conveyed accurate information from the Bible concerning Earth's future as well as obedient mankind's future.
It is true that we must leave things in God's hands, yet it's also true that God wants us to know what the future will be like concerning the earth and its inhabitants. According to the Bible, Jehovah God's Word, the Earth will never come to an end or be destroyed and the earth will always be "inhabited" with obedient humans and other life forms (Isaiah 45:18; Psalms 37:29; Psalms 115:16; Genesis 1:28).
Being spiritually awake and spiritually watchful helps true christians to live each day like it's their last day according to God's standards. Jehovah's Witnesses preach about better times that are coming, the "good news about God's Kingdom" in the competent hands of God's appointed King and Son, Jesus Christ.
Note too, that God's original purpose for humans was to have them live forever on a beautiful, peaceful, paradise earth. Sadly, Adam and Eve disobeyed Jehovah God's command to not eat from the "tree of knowledge of good and bad" and as a result we see suffering earthwide.
Rest assured though, that Jehovah will bring back His original purpose (Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18, Revelation 21:4-5).

When the sun goes Supernova then this world will end for real.

@Hanyouyomi The Apocalypses sounds like a symbolic portrayal of a supernova.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Oh that's so much better than what our religions teach us about the "end times."(Well assuming you're catholic, because I'm a Christian.) Because from what I'm seeing, the Apocalypse, or rather the build up to it is pretty darn disappointing...

@CaptAlbertWhisker Yeah, but even a supernova's more exciting than what I've been seeing... But I forgot, a supernova takes a while before the big boom...

Try to be @anamika161088 but also does it not seem reasonable that from even a scientific point of view it would be true?

I don't believe God or humans will destroy this beautiful earth that God has created and that we as humans enjoy so much, based on what the Bible says at Ecclesiastes 1:4 which states that "the earth remains forever."

May be. No one knows it. We can only predict, rest is on God.

@anamika161088 People don't know because they haven't examined God's view of the future of the earth and its inhabitants. There is a way to know without being in spiritual darkness. Many of the questions that people want answers to are right there in their homes if only they would just brush the dust off this beautiful love letter from God to mankind, the Bible.
Also, man's predictions have been off base forever. Humans have never been able to "connect the dots" accurately, until MAYBE after the fact OR human predictions have not came to fruition to the disappointment of some and to the joy of others.

@anamika161088 - It is said that "all good things must come to an end." From experience, we all know that "bad things" also stop, sooner or later. So, yes, Earth will eventually be burnt to a cinder when the sun decides to make its final gasp. I guess that the only good thing to come out of that is that those pesky mosquitoes will go with it.

@anamika161088 - Humans, with or without wings, would be long gone by that point. When the sun "goes" it will have expanded such that the earth will be "inside" of it and would be totally gone as a thing unto itself - just little atoms and sub-particles floating around inside of a huge and dying sun. (At least, that is what is predicted - but you know how those things go, don't you?)

@anamika161088 I really don't know to be honest. And no one can know for sure. People have theories and beliefs but no one can truly know if the Earth will be here in the future or for how long it will keep going. But one thing I can say for sure is that humans are harming the Earth.

You are so true... Every harm that earth is facing is because of humans only. All other species are also facing those harms done by us...

Rumor it was! A lot of people( e.g. astrologers) make predictions like this, may be for some sort of fame or publicity or whatever reason. Nobody knows when it will happen but it will happen someday. As we can see, if we will continue exploiting the Earth the way we are doing for decades now, it is obvious that the day will come soon.

Well in the end we all know that it's going to happen so why to worry about those things which are yet to happen and destroy our present? It's always better to live in the present and just focus on that. Live you life to the fullest. Have a great day ! :)

Sure world will end one day.
But some where in this or any other galaxy there will be chance for evolution of living beings. They may exist even now.
Will our consciousness have ability to take birth there?

Life on Earth depends on the sun. The sun does have a limited lifespan. What will happen to the Earth when the sun goes Nova? The sun will take the Earth with it.
Worry not. The sun has a very very long lifespan. Maybe by then mankind will carry the wisdom to fix the problem by somehow seeding the sun with new fusionable elements.

Every person is working on ruining our planet, with pollution, Global Warming, and every thing that is happening to this planet, I don't doubt for a minute the end is near, and it has nothing to do with God, its all about humans.

Everything has to come to an end someday so I would say yes I think it will end one day. I don't think it is any day soon though. I feel like it would be another 1,000 years or so and humans would end up dying out by then or have adapted to the environment and be able to survive.
